The story of sine and cosine

They were like the sine and the cosine.
Always meeting in the opposite direction.
Sometimes out of reach of each other.
Sometimes happy. Sometimes sad.
Sometimes in love. Sometimes in search.
It's sad for an outsider. As it is.

Will they ever meet and grow steadily?
Will the cosine divide the sine to become the tangent?
Will they do it?
Will it happen?
